A well-established UK-based leadership advisory firm focusing on executive assessments is seeking to develop and grow a presence in the United States. This hire was essential for this organization as the candidate of choice would lead organizational and executive assessment engagements. Finding the right person was in order to service demanding private equity clients as their reach extends further into the US market. 

Searching for a Credible and Experienced Principal Consultant

Upon partnering with this leadership advisory firm, it became clear that the ideal candidate for this role would be someone capable of overseeing and leading the advisory and assessment functions within the organization. It was also clear that this individual’s success would help shape the growth trajectory of the organization within the United States. The task for Rice Cohen was to find a consultant who has done this work before and could get up to speed quickly. 

Preparing a Calculated and Tactical Search Parameter Allowed the RCI Team to Compile a Strong Slate of Candidates

Rice Cohen’s research team initially sourced approximately 300 of the most qualified candidates. The RCI team presented our client with eleven total candidates, with our client interviewing ten of these eleven. Six of these ten were moved on to the second stage of interviewing. Of those six, only two were moved to the final stage of the hiring process. Concluding final interviews, the client offered the position to one of the qualified candidates presented by RCI. The search was completed in 54 days and RCI was immediately retained to find another consultant for this firm.
